Re: Radiographs and Intraoral Cameras
I thought we added a retake button to 21.4, but it is admittedly mediocre. It got reworked slightly in version 22.1. I can't figure out how to make it completely "automatic". I mean you have to tell the software somehow that this is a retake and not the next one in the series. We got it down to 2 c...

Re: Radiographs and Intraoral Cameras
Hi Jordan, I am testing 21.4.15 xray imaging feature. I found a bit cumbersome that I will have to manually unmount current image before i can retake. it would be great to have existing xray image unmounted automatically. Not sure if the latest 21.4.18 have that feature yet but i have added this int...

Re: Scan-X with new integrated x-ray feature
Jordan- I called OD today and the representative explained they do not offer a service to import x-rays from Apteryx. They explained Image conversions will only import scanned images and documents but not x-rays into Open Dental. He explained that with the improvements in OD imaging module and the ...

Re: Acquire series
Xrayvision (from Apteryx) do set aside unmounted section in case retake is needed so we have a choice to keep it or not. The software do let us re-take current image so we don't need to continue until last teeth and go back to one that's bad. By default software will assume you are taking good image...

Re: Apteryx
For twain you may need to call tuxedo to get it. I am using quickray and they actually install both twain and driver for the sensor. There are also calibration file (unique to sensor) that need to be placed in program data. @ Jordan: does the conversion process placed the converted images into A-Z f...

Re: Apteryx
I called apteryx today and it looks like they want $2400/yr + $200 installations to use their cloud based software. Has anyone who uses apteryx find a cheaper solution? I have tested imaging on opendental but unfortunately there are some feature that's not available such as: 1. being able to go back...

Re: Radiographs and Intraoral Cameras
If Hamamatsu provides a TWAIN driver, then it will work. They almost certainly do. A slightly better option would be if we could implement a native driver. I've been pestering Hamamatsu for months, to no avail. I will wear them down eventually. Our office uses quickray HD sensor (we bought this fro...

Re: Open Dental Plugin to use IntraOral Cameras
Hi Justin, you mentioned you have added dexcam 4 HD.
I have just installed the ioc capture button but i don’t see this camera listed there.
Did you use different name?
