For what it's worth, DentalXChange replaces (but stores) the claim ID received on the claim with a unique claim ID since very few PMS programs supply unique numbers. You are able to search claims by either ID in ClaimConnect so that you will have the unique claim ID availabe if checking on a claim w...

DentalXChange has the ability to receive the 835 files and post them to your ClaimConnect account for download. Once you've downloaded them, Open Dental could be programmed to read in and post the data. (or maybe already can?)

ClaimConnect can handle much longer notes/comments. I believe we just need multiple NTE segments, each of which may have an 80 character limit. We would be happy to confirm and test this with you Jordan. Let me know.
