Patient State bug on sending insurace claims

I have lived with this for a while and called tech support about it with no solution. When I go to send claims some patients come up saying Patient State under the missing info. I go into the patients account the state is listed correctly, no spaces or anything else just the letters CA in the state box. If I delete it and type in CA again it clears it all up and the claim is good to go. Any one else have this problem?

I think there is a space trailing the CA. I really can't think of any other explanation. If not a space, then how about an accidental carriage return. If you have a malformed state attached to a zip code, that could explain how it's repeatedly happening. Check your zipcode setup and look for something odd for the zipcode in question.
