Currently I use two servers. One is a tablet I take with me and the other is a desk top. I tried in vain to get the support folks to make it so that when I pushed backup it would go to the desktop server and then two other hard drives. They always wanted me to save it in backups folder which is separate from just changing the data to the new data from the tablet to the sever. The if my tablet broke I had an accurate data base. The problem I have is I have a gazillion flash drives and 5 kids at home and the drives just disaapear. So I put in a 4 gig card sd card in the tablet and just backed up to that. I was catching up on paperwork and decided to back up did it the normal way but then someone had that that out too. It sat there a few minutes and I noticed it was not doing what I expected. Now it can not find the "table opendental prferences" so I have lost all the input after throwing away all the paperwork I scanned in. I had to go back to 3/08/11 back up on a flash drive i keep in the truck. it is the only database that wiil work. Anyone have any idea where that data went? I have deleted nothing.
