I hope that your state is in better financial shape than ours. Once again, we (Connecticut) narrowly missed having a state sales tax that would apply to "cosmetic medical services." It's only a short leap until a sales tax is applied to all Medical/Dental services.
My question for the group is, "Are any of your states threatening a sales tax?"
And for Jordan, "Wouldn't it be a good idea to have this feature in the works for what may be inevitable?"

Re: Sales Tax
New Mexico has taxed all medical services for years and food as well. It is cleverly called Gross Receipts Tax. The problem is that insurance companies will not cover tax so it is embedded into the fees. I use a simple query to calculate what gets sent to the governor monthly.
