I updated OD today from 15.3 to 16.4.
1) In the security settings for "Edit Completed Procedure" what is the difference between FULL & LIMITED?
2) The workstation which I set up as my "Update Server" is "Computer A".
I had no problem updating that computer to 16.4. I also set up eServices on it without any problem.
However, when I try to update all my other workstations I get "Some files failed to copy. Verify network access and permissions are correct, then click Retry."
I am logged into Win 10 with an Admin account. I right-clicked the Open Dental shortcut and chose "Run as Administrator". I don't know what else to do. I can't open Open Dental on any machine other than Computer A, because I can't get past that message.
Note: I am logged into my network with Remote Desktop.

Re: Update from 15.3 to 16.4
I think the new version failed to copy on those workstations. On the machine affected go to File Explorer, Your server drive (in our case F), Opendentimages, SetupFiles, double click on Setup16.4, let it install and then do that for each workstation.
There was an issue back then with the installer not working as it should.
If not, you may have to up incrementally on those workstations. 15.3 to 15.10, then 15.20 etc.

Are there any Event Viewer errors on the workstations failing to copy files?Hersheydmd wrote:However, when I try to update all my other workstations I get "Some files failed to copy. Verify network access and permissions are correct, then click Retry."
The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.

Edit Completed Procedure (limited)Hersheydmd wrote:1) In the security settings for "Edit Completed Procedure" what is the difference between FULL & LIMITED?
Edit limited, non-financial fields for completed procedures, regardless of the global lock date. Adjustment dates still adhere to a global lock date. If a group note is only attached to non-completed procedures (because the status has changed), the TP Procedure Delete permission is used instead.
