I just reported a bug to Rochelle.
I set up three categories of Quick Paste Notes. I set the Quick Paste Categories for all three to "Procedure" and "Chart Treatment".
I set up multiple notes in each category. When I am in my Chart or editing a Progress note, typing ? followed by the abbreviation, only works for whichever category is listed first in the list. If I change the order of the categories in the list, I change which Quick Notes work. The remaining categories work by choosing the quick note manually, but not by typing ? followed by the abbreviation.

Re: 6.8.34 Bug in Quick Notes
It's behaving as designed. Only one category is going to be used for any given type of text box. For example, if the text box you are in is a procedure, then you should have a category called procedure. Then, double click on that category and make it the default for the Procedure type. You would NOT double click on more than one category and set each one as the default for the Procedure type. There can only be one default. That's what default means, "the one to use". Yes, I know it could be made more clear and organized better. I have a good idea how to make the default issue more obvious if we do a rewrite some day. This question comes up from time to time.
