Some things that have been bothering me lately are the modal dialogs when scheduling/moving appointments. The dialogs in question are the "Move appointment", "Change provider", and "Change length for provider". I added three checkboxes in the modules preference screen and wrapped the dialogs in checks for the preference.
I figured I would do this to see how well it worked, and in my opinion it works pretty well. For the 'move' and 'change provider' dialogs, I just added a checkbox to "confirm" or not. If it's unchecked, it just silently moves/changes. For the provider lengths it was a choice between adding an option for the default, or just "ignoring" those lengths. Since we have a lot of offices who do not use that feature, ignoring the lengths and essentially clicking no every time. An alternative would be a checkbox to confirm changing lengths, and if unchecked, a radio button to specify the default - for offices that always want to use them.
I've included a patch for my changes - I kept the defaults to match the program's current behavior, so all dialogs will still show by default.

Re: Added some options for moving appointments
We can't make the "move" question optional. Otherwise, an unfortunate slip of the mouse and you would move an appointment possibly without even being aware of it. Even if you did notice, it could be difficult to tell where it was originally supposed to be. Too dangerous. But as for the other two, I also dislike those dialogs.

I didn't think of it like that, but you're right. Moving an appointment should be a deliberate thing, so confirming it makes sense.
As for the other options, would it be possible to incorporate those in the next version?

Re: Added some options for moving appointments
Those are great options, but our programmers would need to add them just like any other new feature. Are they in the feature request system yet?
