Expertise needed, shared database multiple clients

Hi everryone

I need your expertise please. I have a simple network configuration. One server and 2 PCs. The two PCs are sharing a single "Shared location drive" on the server. I want to install OD on both of the PCs but have all data(mySQL database) and images on a shared location.

So, when PC "A" runs OD and creates a patient, PC "B" should be able to see it or when PC "B" uploads an image for a patient, PC "A" should see that image through OD.

So simply tell me the steps to have a shared database and a shared images location

The install program that comes with Open Dental will help you do this easily. Read the instruction manual in the website as it will explain everything you need to do to have this type of installation.
