removing treatment from progress notes...

Post by jonesrdh » Thu Sep 09, 2010 4:56 am

We have a unique situation and I can't seem to find the proper way to chart it.

Pt had #3 extracted years ago. We had a periodontist place an implant and we did the crown. However both are charted as done here. Which is fine. However since then the implant failed andthe periodontist removed the implant. How do I remove the implant and implant crown from the chart without causing a huge negative balance. I can't simply chart it as extract or missing because the tooth itself is already extracted/missing.

Thanks for your input.

Open the procedure edit window and check the box to hide the graphics.

Thank you but I am still having trouble.

I am looking for the "procedure edit" window. Maybe we don't have the current update.
Along the top of the progress area the tabs are - Enter treatment, missing teeth, movements, primary, planned apt, show and draw. Along the top of chart I have- select patient, comm log, email, letter, task list, label, popups, RX, Lab case, perio chart, consent, dexis. Along the side - Apt, family, account, treat plan, chart, images and manage.

Thank you for your help.

To get to the procedure edit window, double click on the procedure in the big Progress Notes grid at the lower right.

Thank you for your help. I believe we are behind on our updates, because I don't see that graphics box. Thank you though.
