Server recommendation

I am looking at servers and was wondering how much harddrive capacity i should look for. I have no idea how much space it takes for digital x-rays for patients.
We have a small practice but is adding about 10 patients a month. Will 500gb do it? Also is it necessary for the server to run on windows 2008 server edition
or can it just run the windows 7 professional? the server program is so much more expensive. i'm looking at the thinkserver TS200v.

Yes, that size will be more than adequate. Yes, it can just run Win7 Pro.
