Rx sheet editing

Post by d2dental »

in Rx edit sheet mode, what should be the width and height for A5 size paper. as i would be printing the prescription on preprinted letterhead, How do i set up the fields on X and Y axis so that i had good margin at the top and bottom. Also, I would like to write 3-4 drugs with sig. on a single sheet.

Width 550 Height 430 puts it at the extreme upper left hand corner with about a 1/2" margin (Setup > Sheets > Select 'Rx' sheet and Copy > Then select the custom Rx sheet by double clicking it and click 'Edit Properties' button in the upper right hand corner).
You use trial and error by changing the height and width properties until it lines up like you want it.

By trial and error. Move them if necessary, then print and see if the result is satisfactory.

Note that the "550 x 430" that Bill suggests correlates with the English system of 5.5 x 4.3 inches. Unfortunately, our country has never adopted the metric system.
