how can we mark a patient as having a paperless chart?
All new patients at my office will be paperless as we are scanning forms and all of our xrays are digital. It would be nice if we could look at the days schedule and have some mark that could be seen on their appointment that tells us they are now chartless. We thought we could use the ABCO as we do not use it for credit info, but this would mark them by families instead of individual patients.
Our goal would be to look at the day's schedule and see which one of the charts we need to pull and which are chartless.

right now there is no way custom fields to show on the appt, but if you don't have lots of info already in the address notes for pt, you could use that and then enable it to show on each appointment in your appt view setup. (a workaround for now)

That is a great place to put the 'Paper Chart' because it will also show on the confirmation report which would work great for the person pulling the records to use.
Just remember to uncheck the box which which places the info into the profile of all members of the family.....
