A "Dashboard" stats view in 11.1?
Dan Quevedo mentioned something on DT about the next update to OD including a "Dashboard" that will let us vew a number of practice stats at a glance. This would be AWESOME, especially if customizable, but I certainly haven't seen any sign of it in 11.1 thus far. Can anyone tell me what he's talking about?

Yes, it is in there. Go to Reports and Dashboard tab is in the upper right corner of the Reports screen.

Well now, THAT looks pretty sweet! Are we going to be able to add custom reports to that in the future?

Jordan will answer your question authoritatively, but it would be very difficult to graph custom reports because they are custom, the interface would be complex, so probably no time soon. That feature will need to get more fleshed out first anyhow, allowing custom queries would be premature. But I think it is a great feature that will become amazing as more features are added as it is enhanced.

We designed it to be modular. In other words, each of the large square sections has the same code running it in the background, with the only difference being the queries. There are a lot of different directions the dashboard could go. At the very least, as we add more square sections, we can start letting users choose which ones to show and which ones to not show. We also plan on doing some drill through. For example, we might allow you to click on individual data points to show a report for where that number came from. As it becomes more useful, we will move it to a more prominent position within the program.

Jordan, that looks like an great functionality to add. Having to re-create reports every time we want them becomes quite a bit of work. Thank you!
