scanning multi page pdf

When I use the multipage scanning document icon I get an error that I'm missing EZPdf.dll. This is happening on multiple computers with different scanners. Is there something I didn't do right?

No, that looks like our fault. Added to bug list.

Well I figured it was part of EZTwain so I installed that and copied the dll files into opendental until you're able to get the bug fixed. I'm currently using an epson GT-s50 document scanner and it seems to work well with the new upgrade. The only problem is that I haven't figured out a way to control the scanning parameters. When I scan with epson scan software into adobe acrobat the files are more then 10 times smaller and the text is clearer. Is there anyway to at least control the resolution and color/grey/b&w settings?

Keep in mind that we are not using OCR to convert the scan to text. It's just a separate image for each page of the pdf. So it will be different than scanning into Adobe Acrobat. I think a good next step would be to allow scanning through Adobe Acrobat if it's installed.

Adam, I suspect that you are not using our installer. We have verified that the dll is installing correctly.

when i scan multipage wihle suppressing the popup, the papers scan thru the ADF but then nothing happens. I can keep using OD but no images were created. If I do not suppress the popup, i can scan, the images do pop up, but the software freezes for several minutes before i can save it into an images folder.

We did our development and testing with Epson Workforce all-in-ones on 64 bit computers. I suspect that we are going to see some driver issues and different behavior with different scanners. Do you have more than one scanner installed?

nope just one scanner- a multifunction Brother 9440CN
