Default scroll for appointments

Post by navakas »

How would one go about altering the default startup view of the appointment book?
It always starts at 8am. If appointments before 8 exist, they are not seen, & the front desk people will not be aware of it.
They dont think to scroll & check.
Looking at the code, I am struggling to see where that could be modified - could I get a few pointers on where to start?
Ideally to change the window so it shows hours xx to yy, not 24 hrs

Before we get to that, I would like to ask why it matters. They will open the program ONE time in the morning, and from then on, the scroll will not jump to 8.

On very rare occasions, I start before 8. No-one habitually looks below 8am, so sometimes no-one has noticed, & a patient arrives there & I am not!
Would be nice for it to scroll to earliest appointment on a day :)

But my point is that you still won't notice. Not unless we make the scroll jump every time you switch from day to day. And that behavior sounds very annoying. It sounds like the solution is to put a note in at 8 to remind you the someone's coming earlier. I use that strategy for personal evening and weekend notes. Again, scrolling couldn't help with those, either.
