Direct Deposit from Insurance

I was thinking about starting to do direct deposit from some of our insurance companies. Does anyone else do this? How does this work with the accounting side of things in OD? Do you still do checks with the EOBs and create deposits to match up with your bank statements? I'm trying to get a handle for how this works before I sign up with them. Thanks

Yes, we have direct deposit setup for several insurance companies. You still need to create the insurance checks the same way, we just put 'EFT' in the check# field. We also create a separate deposit slip for the EFT's.
