Where are you entering the emergency contact info for patients? A custom patient field, somewhere in the Med History window or ?

I would suggest in the Address and Phone Notes section of the Edit Patient Information window. That way it can shows up bold and red in the family module and it will also show up in your popup box when you hover over appointments in the Appts module.
