TWAIN interface error when using Microtek Scanner

Got the following error message when trying to scan an image from the Microtek 9800 scanner:

EZTW: Memory Transfer Mode not supported

Has anyone seen this issue?

I'm using OD version 5.3. I read 5.4 uses a new TWAIN version. Is this issue related to the old TWAIN interface?

Have you successfully used this scanner in the past? Upgrading to 5.4 seems like a sensible next step.

We had this problem as well with the Microtek 9800XL, and 5.4 does scan correctly. I think it was mainly an issue of the old TWAIN dll.
