TREATMENT FINDER- can i see pts CELL PHONE?

I am running the treatment finder, and their home ph number is listed.

However, most of my patients ph number is listed under wireless number", not their home number

Is it possible to get od to easily display both the home and the wireless (or if only one, can i change it to the wireless?)

The treatment report will show the patients prefered contact method for recalls.

So if you go into a patients information you can select from multiple options including wireless.

The option can be set in the lower left hand region labeled "Prefer Recall Method"

can i change it en mass for everyone (as i have most peoples cell numbers) , or do i need to change each individuyally?

I believe that right now it needs to be entered in individually. I will double check that though. If not that would be a good feature request!

I think you can write SQL to update preferred recall method.

We need to clarify here. Open Dental unequivocally and strongly recommends that users NEVER update the database using UPDATE statements or otherwise alters the contents of the database outside of the Open Dental Program. Even internally, Engineers are not allowed to do this, (with the exception of our conversions department) because the results can be unexpected and issues can surface later where data was entered or updated in a manner inconsistent with how the software does it.
I'd be happy to introduce you to our conversions department, if you would like to explore the option of a mass change.
