appointment view

Post by enamelrod »

Is there anyway to hide part of the pts names for hipaa on the appointment schedule.
We have the hygienist scheduling appointments in the operatories and want to limit amount of information visible to the patient?

We use Appointment view F-2 which has all the information contained in Appointment view F-1 except it uses the patient's id number. Very ease to switch back and forth. Works great for us

I thought the "F-2, F-3, etc" Appointment Views are customizable. Under Setup, Appointment Views, you can set whatever fields you want to show. F-1 is the normal view that shows on all computers,so F-2 could be details on your normal appointment screen minus the name. We use F-2 for Production. Very easy to quickly view how the week, or day is looking.

Agreed: http://opendental.com/manual/appointmen ... indow.html

There is currently no way to hide the selected patient name in the title bar FYI.
The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.

I dont mind the pt name in the title bar. when a staff member is scheduling with a patient looking on you can see everyone else on the schedule.
