Color change for procedures in chart

Is there a way to change the color of chart info on the LR? For example, future appointments are currently highlighted in green and today's appts are highlighted in yellow.

Most colors are customizable in Open Dental. This can be done by going to Setup>Definitions and finding the correct criteria.
The colors definitions in the chart module can be found in the Prog Notes Colors category.
To edit a color in a category, double click on the name and choose a new color.

I am using OD for first time and not able to see colour changes in tooth , DirectX is selected and default view shows font in different colors as per definition .......don't know what else to do to get tooth coloured as per definition

To change the color of treatments on the tooth chart, go to Setup -> Definitions -> Chart Graphic Colors. You can then choose your favorite colors for TP'ed procedures, existing other procedures, completed procedures, etc.

Also, I cannot see the image that is in your comment. Maybe you need to set the permissions to public on that file in Google Drive?

Ah, I see what you're asking now. The PFM Seat by default has a Paint Type of None. If you want it to show up on the graphical tooth chart, you can change the Paint Type to another type by going to Lists -> Procedure Codes -> PFM Seat and selecting your desired Paint Type.

in your treatment plan, I do not see that you diagnosed a procedure like a filling, or a crown, or a root canal, etc.. The tooth color in the chart will show/change once you enter a treatment

I have problem with the new release (17.1.1) and color in the chart. I set the "ChartGraphicColors" for "Treatment Planned" and "Treatment Planned (light)" - red. The same for the text in "ProgNoteColors". In the chart is the tooth green (like for "Complete"), please see the attached picture.

This was a bug in v17.1.1 and the solution is to update to a more recent version of 17.1. E.g. version 17.1.38 does not have this bug present.
