Custom Fields In AddPatient or EditPatient

I created some custom fields and now they show up in the Patient Information screen under the Family tab/button.
Can I get them to show up in the Add New Patient [or Edit Patient Information] screen?

That functionality is not currently available. Another office has requested this in feature request #4168, so adding votes to it will help it along.
