Sharing CBCTs

Is there any way for us to easily share cbcts that we have taken with specialists?
I would like to be able to do something through od, even if it using dropbox, wetransfer, etc, as i would like a record in the pts charts

I'm assuming they are saved as DICOM files that are managed by the CBCT software?

yes, but we occasionally need to share it with the orthodontist, etc. and want to have a record in the pts notes as to how to do it

I'm not sure. Would you send them to the orthodontist as a DICOM file, or would you export it to some other format?

Again, I don't want to be nagging you guys, but all this could be solved if the Orthanc Open Source DICOM server would be added to the Open Dental distribution. https://www.orthanc-server.com. It DOES need a dental frontend though...

It's not nagging. I'm eager to talk about it. We just added support for native DICOM in version 20.5, so I'm not sure Orthanc would add much.
