Information blocking rule

I don't think OD would have difficulty implementing this new rule (applying to all health care providers in the US), I just wanted to see if the OD team has started working on this.

Information Blocking isn't something we would work on. It's something we would work to avoid.

Yes, I think I'm understanding that with the spirit of Open Dental. The question is how do we provide near real time access to the entire patient chart through the patient portal?

Good point. I think we will be adding a button that lets you push a CCD to the patient portal upon request. That can be digitally imported by another office. We already generate CCDs, but it's just a matter of making them available at the right time.
