Field for referral?

Is there a field for me put the source of referral? I would like to keep track of how many patients come to my office through insurance directories, newspapers, for example. Thanks.

family module, bottom row, double click on that area and you can insert referrals to and from.

You have to double click right on the small box that says referral...kinda tricky to figure out, but easy to do once you learn it.

Thanks for that. I don't see it mentioned anywhere in the user manual. Also it seems to me that it is for human referrals. I don't know why you would need SSN for the referral and all the other detail information. I want to have a way to document if it is from my ad on the newspaper or mailers. There is a checkbox for "not person". But I don't see any effects when I check it.

Could anyone share with me how you track referrals? Thanks.

Just type Newspaper into the last name field, check the "not person" box, and ignore everything else.
