The 5.0 chart image draws really slow. It is slowing us down quite a bit. When there is time it may want to change the logic of it so that it renders less often (and behind the scene), and only what has changed.

Sorry I don't have a solution for the moment but thought the point was worthy of a post.

try going to File | Graphics and choose use hardware acceleration. That may fix your problem.

We are aware of it. We plan to look at it in a few days. Derek recently worked hard on trying to render it behind the scene. It's impossible. But we should still be able to get it to render faster than it is, because it was faster previously.
