Query for End of Year Insurance Benefits

Post by Nate »

Can anyone help?

I would like a query that list patients with end of year benefits remaining. Any that have treatment planned dental work (excluding cleanings) treatment planned and that excludes INACTIVE patients. If cleanings and exams can not be excluded then if it can be arranged from highest treatment plan to lower would make it easy to deteremine which are simple recalls.

I tried the query on the example page, but found that I had many inactive patiets scattered throughout the list.

Thanks,

I can't seem to find the report in v 6.1 that you are referring to. I'm running 6.1.4.
What is it called and where is it?

it's in Lists in the Reports, but it's broken. it's called Treatment Finder.

It seems to work....however, it doesn't make me any happier.
Apparently, there are roughly $872,000 of unused benefits remaining.
With only 17 more scheduled work days in 2008, that's an average of $52300 per day worth of work!
Heck, I rarely break $46,000/day. :D
can't waste time here.....got to go.

What do you mean it's broken? It should work just fine.

OK, that bug has been fixed, but not quite released yet. The fix is part of 6.1.9.

Dr Sparks; What about patients with benefits remaining. We've come across patients that have used there funds else where {example, at the oral surgeon or periodontist} so the balance remaining is not true to the amount patient has left. So if we do find out what is left for the year why can't that amount be changed in the account/there has to be a place to note this so we don't over spend the patients funds.
thank you

You can easily make entries that reflect the amount of insurance used in other offices. See the "Adjustments to Insurance Benefits" at the top of the Insurance Plan window
