Is the default for a prophy patient 6months or 6months and a day?

You were asking about the dental industry in general, right? Because you can set it either way in OD in the setup recall types section.

Sorry, I was trying to ask, if I set up recall types as 6months, does OD default to the next appointment for 6months and a day? or do I have to set it up for 6 months and a day?

Their "due date" would be exactly 6 months later.
