Auto Notes- Up/Down Arrows

Post by savvy »

One use to be able to adust the positioning/order of the variables using up/own arrows.
Any chance of that returning?

They don't seem to be included in 6.4.10.

I hope you were talking about in the setup section. Editing an individual control and moving the choices in the list up and down, right? Which window are you talking about?

Currently, the procedure templates and "available prompts" are listed in alphabetical order. Example: 2 quads SRP is at the top, Perio Maintenance is in the middle; adhesive is at the top, polish is in the middle. Since 2Qsrp and Perio Maint are hyg it would be great if they could be moved such that they list near each other. Since "adhesive" and "polish" are associated with fillings, it would be great if they could be listed close to each other.

I think you may be drifting into feature request territory, especially since it will require another column in the database. Is the current functionality workable? Is it at least a little better than before the overhaul?

Two more requests for the Auto Notes

1 Is it possible to add a prompt box into one of the answers to choose from? For example: If one is creating a note for anesthesia and the text said "The kind of anesthesia was {prompt for kind of anesthesia}
and in the responses for this particular prompt the choices were articaine
xylocaine
Prilocaine
could a prompt box be inserted at the response level also to further define the answers? for example

articaine {prompt for quantity}

2 This may be a feature request but since you have been working so hard on the Auto Notes, why stop now,
but add a popup that includes a primary and permanent tooth chart so a mouse click will allow us to pick a tooth off the chart which will add that numbe to the text anywhere we want.

Thank you so much for the Auto Notes overhaul - it is shaping up great and will really strengthen the program.

OK, a minor enhancement was just released. Now, in the compose auto note window, if you already have a note started in the main window, you can place the cursor at any location, and double click on another autonote to insert it at that position. Your autonote can simply have one prompt and nothing else. Your prompt can have all the tooth numbers in it. It's not perfect, but it's somewhat useful.

I have had time today to set-up some of the Auto Notes. It is working great, awesome job and timely as well. In my humble opinion, this is a huge advantage having this module in the program. Great job and thanks again.
Hopefully you won't mind if we users make any further suggestions as we see fit? It is really in the best interest for all of us.

I wonder if it would be possible for autonotes to be an option in all text boxes by right clicking and it being on the list. I would like to use it in other places.

I agree, I would love to be able to use the Autonotes in the large medical history text box.

Just an FYI for those of you setting up AutoNotes. Do not enter any symbols in the Description boxes when filling out the prompts e.g. =,+,/,-- because the program won't recognize it properly and skip over the prompt when trying to compose the note. Not a problem, just an FYI = ask me how I know?

A request for Jordan
Could you make the prompt box popup permanently movable to the side if one chooses so the prompt pop-up won't block the actual note being composed?

The prompts should be fairly low on the screen already in order to not block the note. They are still in the way?

Jordan

Have you seen my notes :) They tend to be lengthy for completeness. Just a suggestion, would be a nice convenience.
