Jordan,

6.8 looks real good in specs, but you said 6.8.1 was less stable than most betas. Is it better now at 6.8.5? Checking it out.

are there any fuctions loss between 6.7 and 6.8

There are the known bugs. Also, if using replication, be sure to set up key ranges right off the bat or you will end up with some really huge primary keys. Other than that, none that I know of.
