Prescription Date and Quantity Modifications

Post by FLDental »

Hi all,
I received a message yesterday from a local Publix pharmacy here in Jacksonville Florida basicly stating that a new ordinance 893.04 requires that scripts must now post the date as (for example) Oct. 30, 2008 instead of 10/30/08 and pill quantity as both #30 (thirty) as opposed to #30 only.

I was wondering is there a simple way to change this in the program?

Best Regards,
Mat Somers

Yes. Go to sheets. Make a copy of your Rx sheet so that you can edit it. Double click on the RxDate field towards the upper right. In the field name list, change it to RxDateMonthSpelled.

Oh, and for the quantity, it's freeform. Just type in "30 (thirty)" instead of "30".
