I was having problems with the internet at the office so I have been updating at home and then taking the update program in a flash drive to the office and updating by running it in the server, and then running Open Dental in each workstation to update each one. This time, I upgraded from version 6.6.27 to 6.7.29 and when I tried to update the workstations it would stop and a message would say that it could not find the manifest.txt in the UpdateFiles folder in OpenDental data. I worked around that by running the setup exe manually in each workstation. I was wondering if I should copy this UpdateFiles folder from my home computer or will this simply be fixed the next time I upgrade from my office server.

Re: Crash in workstations on uprade
It is optimized for a live connection, and without it you will have to install at each workstation just as you did. But once you upgrade at the server directly from the internet, it should automatically create the UpdateFiles folder and the manifest.txt. It should also work perfectly fine in the future to copy the whole folder to your office so that you don't have to run Setup.exe separately from each workstation.
