Question Re: patient with 2 insurance plans

Post by tomle » Mon Nov 23, 2009 2:20 pm

Hi All,

I have an interesting problem and not sure how to solve with OD. I have one patient with 2 insurance plans from the same company, pacific blue cross, and the patient's plans have the same subscriber's ID, but diff. group numbers. When I added in the 2nd plan's benefits, which is different from the 1st plan, both plans show the same info.

any idea how I can create the 2nd plan?

Thanks

When adding the second plan, be sure that when selecting the plan to add that you create a new plan. If you change the group number on one, does it change it on the other? If so, then you've done it wrong. If that still doesn't work, look at the bottom of the Ins Plan edit window. Is that checkbox checked automatically? If so, that might be the problem.
