Time Locked

Post by DavidWolf »

Is there a place to make the "time locked" check box the default?

After playing with it, it seems that it would be best to have OD automatically check that box if the length of the appointment is manually altered. I'll put that down for a near-future version. And, of course, we are still planning on having alternative time calculation methods in the future. One of the options will probably be fixed-length appointments.

For my practice being able to setup custom appointments with a locked amount of time is just about all I need.

Having the time locked button default to locked would just make this easier.

Once we are able to plan multiple appointments this will give us the ability to set all the appointments up for a patient's entire plan.
The front desk will not be able to mess up the sequence, the amount of time needed for appointments and they won't be able to blame Open Dental for automatically changing anything.
