Audit Trail Security Admin Access

Just noticed that if an employee's security level does not allow "Security Admin" they are not allowed to check the audit trail for an appointment from the tools menu. However if that some employee opens the appointment and clicks the audit trail button they get access the audit trail.

I am not sure if this is by design but it just seems odd that one route to the audit trail is allowed and another route is blocked.

That's by design. The audit trail available from inside an appointment has much less potential for abuse.
