Why does the Search engine in the Appts module give back a time that already has someone scheduled in the slot we requested to be open? Doesn't happen in every available suggested time, but on some of them.

Open time not based on operatory time or chair time, based on provider time. The provider time is set within each appoinment, and is based on default time for each procedure and provider. SEE http://www.open-dent.com/manual/aptedit.html

This is because if you have a patient in a chair getting numb, you can still be working on another patient. Otherwise there would be a one to one chair/provider ratio at all dental offices.
