Now that I have downloaded the dotNet to my server, how can I get it running on each workstation?
And, besides the feature request, what other programs does it run in OD?

Open Dental requires the .NET framework to run, no matter what. However, only the feature request system (so far) requires the latest version, 3.5. All other parts of the program depend on features provides by version 2.0. The .NET framework must be installed on each machine you have for the program to run at all.

The file you downloaded is an exe file. Simply run it on each computer as you would any other program.
There is no reason to install anything but the most current version of .net.
