Open Dental Forum

Hello to all,
I am a new future user of Open Dental, evaluating the product and considering a conversion from Dentrix. I've been a fan of Open Dental from the beginning and very impressed with Jordan's talents and staff support.

Any one using an outside source of sending out patient bills ??? We have been using E-Bills for apx 5 years and i can't imagine the staff stuffing and print monthly statements The cost is very efficient . I thought that Renaissance Dental was getting into the Billing arena as well. Is Open Dental compatible with Renaissance e-claims and e-billing or any other outside source of patient statement billing ?

We have gotten some requests for it in the past, and have looked into implementing it. Now that we have moved to a 3 column account, it should be much easier. But we use our feature request system to help us decide when to implement new features, and nobody has submitted that request, let alone vote for it. So, due to low demand, it's not a high priority. You could change that situation by voting for that feature once you become a customer.
