Ok, good idea, are we able to erase the drawing later? If so, how? Thanks

Yes, you can erase. Under the Draw tab you have some options of a Pointer, Pen, etc. and one is an Eraser. All you need to do is select what you want to erase. BUT keep in mind when you are drawing if you do it all in one stroke it will erase the entire stroke not just what you are touching with the eraser. This is good to know when you draw the braces in the first place.

How do you draw the braces and wires? When I try that it looks like a chicken was scratching at the computer screen : )

Well.............

They're not Rembrandts....
More like Picasso.

It is more or less like using an Etch-A-Sketch.
If your drawing isn't up to your liking.....
just shake the heck out of your monitor and start again.

I draw squares/rectangles/ovals on the teeth with brackets.
Each "bracket" needs to be "drawn" in a single stroke.
I'm not picky.....they are what they are.
Though I have mastered the technique to isolate them per tooth.

Once I place all the brackets....I draw a single line with one stroke from the most distal right bracket to the most distal left bracket.
Thats it!!!

I use a small vertical slash for each bracket a long horizontal line for the archwire each wire size has a different color 018n is red, 018n is blue etc. stops are a v placed over the archwire. You can come up with your own shorthand. I might also add we use a touchscreen.

Improvements to make this really useful would be the ability to save a chart screenshot to the images module at the click of a button.

I just read your post and find it funny that you try to draw with the mouse lol.

Get this quite cheap you can use it as a signature pad as well. for only $50 to $60 US
