XDR anyone using it and do you like it or not??????

I just started using XDR with OD.
It is my first experience with digital radiography
It is okay....but I am not jumping and skipping down the hall
Anybody else have an opinion about it???

xdr doesn't seem as robust as some 'plain jane' software i've used for digital imaging in the past. most of the enhancing functions are ok for altering the xray. the e2v sensor is pretty good for middle-of-the-road.
the layout of the program is a little goofy for stand-alone vs bridged. there's a lot of mouse moving to get from one button to the next for a sequence of clicks in the bridged setup.
there are a couple little additions to the new version (2.4.6) which i jsut found out about that give the program a bit more function.
is there a specific question you have?

I have been using OD with XDR now for a week and very satisfied. Not as many of the options are available for the scanx(which I have),...but thats okay
