Is there a feature request for attaching a scanned EOB image to a completed insurance claim (or account transaction)? In Softdent (which I hate btw...) you can highlight any transaction on the screen and click on documents and see the EOB for that procedure within seconds. That makes it so easy when a patient has a question why they are getting billed etc. to pull up the EOB without hunting for it. Many times also if a patient is in the chair and asks how much a crown cost etc. I can just click on their transaction screen in the treatment room and pull up the EOB on their last crown etc. to show them how their insurance handled it...

If there is a feature request already is it ranked with a low or high priority? Is this a feature you want to see in Open Dental?

That would be an great feature. There would have to be some way to link many insurance claims to the same EOB as many of our EOBs have multiple claims attached to them. It could be done in a similar fashion to how checks are attached to many claims.

It's feature request 445. It's been a fairly obvious planned improvement for quite a while. I expect it will probably happen when the imaging module gets overhauled regardless of the low votes that it has. Yes, multiple claims would be attached to a single eob image.
