Could you somehow have OD ignore certain plugins so that they are not copied to the workstations when the server version of OD is updated?

Perhaps you could create a naming convention for us outside developers (such as the plugin name contains an "_"character or some such), so that OD will ignore these .dlls whenever is is updated.

Reason is, I use an automatic updater control to update my plugin versions on the clients, so I don't want the plugin version on the server (which may not get updated as often) overwriting the .dll on the clients everytime OD is updated...

I think it should be a little more unique. How about double _ ? Like __. Virtually guaranteed not to annoy anyone.
