Concerning database optimization with MySQL Administrator, should Open Dental be shut down on all the workstations before the database optimization tool is run on the server? I was worried about data corruption if users were still working on the workstations. Do I need to be concerned about this?

I always do my database optimization after hours when no one is using it. I don't know for sure if that's requred for MySQL, but with other databases I've worked with it was, so I just assumed. Make sure you back it first also.
