I added a edit date limitation in the treatment plan security settings for some users. Now they are unable to sign the treatment plan.

How many days is it set to?

I set it to seven days. For many of our patients we have to mail treatment plans out to family members and when we get a consent form back in the mail we mark the treatment plan signed (we don't actually sign it, just click a dot on the signature so it shows an X in the signed section). I didn't think signing would be considered an "edit" when I turned that on. I really want to prevent people from deleting saved treatment plans, or making changes to them after they are signed.

Yes, I understand. I think locking them after signed would be a separate permission. You see, we would need to add a field to the database to track date signed, and then compare the permission with that.

I don't want to make this too complicated. I guess I don't think signing a treatment plan should be considered editing it. No matter what edit permission a user has they should still be allowed to sign the treatment plan - then I could turn on the current security settings.

That seems reasonable.

Is this something that will be fixed in this release? I don't see it on the bug list.
