Inventory requirements

I think OD is really one of the greatest dental systems around but I find it weird it doesn't provide good inventory capabilities. Dentist do have to keep a record of their dental supplies, in some cases, they sell dental equipments and indeed they need a decent inventory tracker. They need to know what they have, quantity, stock and what,s out and what to order if a trigger is added for minimum re-ordering limit... A great system such as OD will be greater with such funcionalities.
If this is not available in OD, what do you recommend ? What tool dentists can use to manage inventiry ?
