I added the following procedure codes:

C6245 Pontic-Natural Tooth
C6545 Retainer-fiber reinforced bonded composite

I would also like to add a new "TYPE" catagory, Bridge Pontic or Retainer-Natural.

How do I do that?

And YES, I do this enough for me to justify these additions. I use natural pontics when ever possible to maintain emergence profile prior to implant placement as well as a better esthetic and conservative option than creating lower anterior cast bridges.

You mean when you hit the New button in the Procedure Codes window? In the New Code window, right? Those types that you see there are only useful in that window. They just automate the other boxes in that window. So if you've already added the codes, then there's no point in adding another type, too. In any case, they are all hard coded and cannot be edited.
