Version 5010 of the X12 Standard

I just learned from my clearinghouse (Inmediata) that there's a new version of x12 we have to use starting Jan 1, 2012. Are we ready for that? Any information on this?

Yes, it's already part of version 11.1. Still slightly buggy, but getting better every day.

Will it switch automatically to the new 5010 version on January 1, or will we have to select it from a menu?

You can change that option back and forth from inside the clearinghouse edit window. You could try it right now.
