Question:
If a staff member (who doesn't have Setup Permissions) needs to look up an e-mail address or other information we recorded of a lab, they can't because Laboratories are listed under SETUP and not under LISTS. Is there any reason it needs to be that way.

Rob -

I duplicate my lab info in the CTRL-SHIFT-C Phone Directory.... no access issues, but it takes two steps to enter the info (initially)

It would be a feature request to change it so that it doesn't block users until they actually try to edit a laboratory.

Why the extra security for Laboratories compared to any of the other Lists found under LISTS? It isn't highly sensitive information.

No reason. That's just how we happened to do it.
