Is there a way to get a list of broken appts during a period of time?

Run a report on the resulting adjustments.

How's about an overlay (like watermark) of "NO SHOW" or "CANCELLED" directly on the scheduled appointment.... so the appointment still visible at background when we send it to broken appt list. Just wonder if it is possible.

Reports are great but
we need the info Real Time 'On The Fly".
When Patients call with last minute cancelations.
We have to know if we should be naughty or nice to them.
(and if the patient is taking advantage of us.)
If we don't have real time it's possible for a patient to slip by 2 or 3 times
before being 'caught' by a busy front desk or even the treating dentist.
Quickly and Easily knowing how many previous
-24h cancellations
this pt has is critical for the appropriate response.
We all have created at least 1 "adjustment" for this purpose.
Our office has several (ie: 1st No-Show -24hr , Canceled Appt -24, Missed appt #2, etc)
The A-Ha suggestion here is to:
To link all these to a drop "Down-Filter" and "Count Box"
Which would be placed in Easy View.. right up there next to the "Show Entire Hx" check box in Acct Module.
Any new 'Cancellation Adjustment' we create would have the option to be 'tagged' to this..
Most likely done in Setup Definitions> Adj types> with a new check box for: "is this a 'Broken-Appointment' "
So the 'Count Box' always shows the real time -24h cancelations.
Then by checking the box 'Show Cancelations Only'
we'd see Not Only the Cancelations
But the text descriptions we wrote of why the patient skipped out and our response to them.
Sounds easy, but I'm sure the programming is not.
Perhaps using a drop down filter might be easier than adding a new data base.
Thanks again.
